Creator Weekly Wrap-Up! February 24, 2017

Hello again! It's been busy over here as both of us prep for (Re)Generation Who -- Ginger has been doing a ton of art and design for it, and Kara is working on blogging and programming for the event.

We know that many of our fans are already attendees of Onezumi Events, but we'll drop the note again anyway: if you're a Doctor Who fan and have the last weekend of March free, you should totally be at (Re)Gen. We've got Seventh Doctor Sylvester McCoy, appearances by Jenna Coleman and Ingrid Oliver on Sat/Sun, 2/3 of the Paternoster gang, Classic series companions, and tons of writers. And you'll get to see our exhausted smiling faces!

Anyway, on to the stuff.

Speaking of (Re)Gen, if you follow their social media, you'll be among the first to see Ginger's VIP art for this year's prints and shirts! It features our actor guests of honour as their characters, and you can get your own copy! When you register, be sure to add VIP levels to get the print and/or shirt version of the art. The print is great for autographs, too!

Ginger is also working away alongside Kelsey Wailes and con chair Oni Hartstein to create some awesome special character badges -- again, you can add those to your membership when you register. Preview images will be available soon!

Meanwhile, you can read some more of Kara's work this weekend over on literary/lifestyle web mag Thoughtful Dog! Her sci-fi short The Janitors of Terra Mainframe pops up there tomorrow, as well as a mini-interview. Also, be sure to coast over to We Are Cult to read her run-down of dark media.

One final note -- Kara will be at MystiCon in Roanoke, VA this weekend. Be sure to stop by and say hi if you see her!

Creator Weekly Wrap-Up! February 17, 2017

Hello again! Several pieces of cool news going on for both Ginger and Kara this week -- be sure to check them all out!

First off, Ginger has designed this awesome third year shirt that attendees of (Re)Generation Who can buy as part of their registration. Shirts are $20 each for sizes S-XL, and $25 each for sizes 2XL-5XL. Check out the registration page to get yours! She'll also be doing some VIP art for the site, which will premiere once it's done.

She's also selling a limited number of these adorable Inuyasha charms on her Etsy. They're similar in style to the Herne and Iris pattern you may see around. So if you are or know an anime fan, be sure to pick one of these up!

On Kara's side of things -- this weekend, the first episode of The Chronicles of Oz will be premiering! This six-episode audio series has been described by its creator as "The Wizard of Oz meets The West Wing," and features a largely Australian cast as the denizens of Oz. Kara appears as Dorothy Gale herself! The series will be free to download, and features a completely new score.

Go to official website, iTunes page, or Facebook page to listen!

That's all from William's Grove this week, but be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram for some sneak previews in coming days!

Creator Weekly Wrap-Up! February 10, 2017

Hey, everyone! We're approaching completion of book 2 (as Kara ticks away at book 3 text). In the meantime, we're going to start doing weekly wrap-ups of what Ginger and Kara both have coming. So if you're a fan of Owl's Flower, check out the creators' other projects and sales!

Ginger is running a sale over at her Etsy! In honor of Peter Capaldi's tenure, she's offering a free print with each purchase of her "Thank God and Scotland for Peter Capaldi" shirt. Some of the arts involve Inktober work and her contributions to the Shut Up and Eat! cookbooks.

She's also got some new Who-ish jewelry, so be sure to check out her latest additions to her shop!

Meanwhile, you can pre-order City of the Saved: Tales of the Civil War -- the latest anthology from the Faction Paradox spinoff -- from Obverse Books. City creator Philip Purser-Hallard scouted an all-female writing team for this short story collection, in which Kara is included.

Thanks for all your support -- if you'd like to help us outside of our Owl's Flower work, be sure to visit Ginger's Patreon and Etsy, and Kara's orphaned projects page!
